Job Responsibilities:
- Lead internal dosimetry and quantitative imaging analysis for radiopharmaceutical discovery/development.
- Design and execute imaging strategies for preclinical/clinical studies (protocols, imaging manuals, SAPs, trial reporting).
- Perform advanced dosimetry analysis/modeling from PET/SPECT/CT/3D autoradiography (kinetic, compartmental, and physiologically-based PK modeling for animal-to-human translation).
- Oversee image QC (calibration/QA, standardization per guidelines/literature).
- Innovate imaging/reconstruction/modeling approaches to improve diagnostic accuracy and therapy efficacy (including novel radioisotopes such as alpha-emitters).
- Coordinate with vendors, CROs, external investigators, and agencies; provide technical support/training.
- Contribute to regulatory activities/claims strategies and communicate complex topics to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Medical Physics, Nuclear Medicine, Electrical Engineering, or related field with dosimetry-enabling training.
- 7+ yearsβ experience in molecular imaging and RPT dose modeling research or 7+ RPT-specific publications.
Preferred:
- PhD; oncology radiopharmaceutical diagnostic/therapeutic experience; alpha-emitters strongly desired.
- 2+ years industry experience in a cross-functional matrix environment.
Skills/Tools:
- Expert in radiopharmaceutical oncology development, internal dosimetry and PK/kinetic modeling; experience with PET/SPECT/autoradiography and image reconstruction.
- Proficiency with modeling/statistical/coding tools (e.g., Python/Matlab/R, GATE, OLINDA/MIRDcalc, SAAM II, SimBiology, SPSS).
- Clear scientific communication; travel 10β15%.
