Responsibilities:
- Respond to unsolicited medical requests about Gilead products from HCPs, the public, and internal colleagues using approved resources in a timely manner.
- Use scientific and MI expertise to support strategic initiatives and enable timely, informed decisions and improved patient outcomes.
- Perform medical review for promotional and/or medical materials.
- Prepare global scientific resources with local affiliate teams.
- Identify, report, and record adverse events and product complaints per SOP.
- Contribute to GMI strategy and represent GMI cross-functionally; may lead global projects/initiatives/product launches.
Routine responsibilities may include:
- Maintain deep knowledge of products/disease/competitor landscape for assigned therapeutic area.
- Handle medical/scientific information requests; research complex cases with cross-functional teams.
- Create/update/review/approve MI response documents; maintain approved document repository.
- Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., medical affairs, development, regulatory, patient safety, commercial) to manage response content.
- Analyze MI databases for trends/insights; prepare customer interaction reports; support congress booths; serve as SME.
Basic qualifications:
- 10+ years with BS/BA OR 8+ years with MS/MA or MBA.
Preferred qualifications/skills:
- PharmD/MD/PhD or equivalent; MI or comparable healthcare/clinical experience; pharmaceutical/MI vendor experience.
- Experience in medical/promotional reviews; strong written/verbal/interpersonal skills; ability to analyze clinical/scientific data; regulatory/legal knowledge for MI; attention to detail, project management, problem-solving.
Benefits (explicit): annual bonus/LTIs/paid time off; medical/dental/vision/life insurance; salary range: Bay Area $195,670–$253,220; other US locations $177,905–$230,230.
