Assoc Director, Health Systems Medical Outcomes Science Liaison (Southeast)

Role: The Health System Medical Outcomes Science Liaison (HS MOSL) is a field-based scientific expert responsible for engaging healthcare decision-makers within IDNs, academic health systems, and organized healthcare entities to communicate the clinical and economic value of Alnylam's RNAi therapeutics. Objectives include building peer-level relationships, providing evidence-based scientific and health economic data, supporting formulary and clinical pathway decisions, and identifying research collaboration opportunities. Responsibilities encompass developing strategic account plans, addressing evidence gaps, supporting value assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs and HEOR. Requirements include an advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD), 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience with a focus on health systems or IDNs, and familiarity with US healthcare ecosystems, formulary decision-making, and regulatory standards (PhRMA, OIG, FDA). Preferred qualifications include experience in rare diseases, familiarity with federal health systems (VA, DoD), and HEOR expertise. The role demands strong therapeutic knowledge, excellent communication skills, and up to 75% travel. The position is based within the territory covering FL, NC, SC, KY, TN, GA.
