Role: Senior Information Architect leading the design and standardization of scientific data across pre-clinical discovery and manufacturing in biopharma. Responsibilities: collaborate with scientists and engineering teams to develop ontologies, data models, and controls that enhance data quality, context, and usability; embed standards in data capture workflows; adopt industry ontologies like BAO to contextualize datasets; develop best practices for data management supporting research insights. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related; over 5 years in biopharma or life sciences with hands-on experience in scientific ontologies, semantic web technologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL), and knowledge graphs; deep understanding of pre-clinical workflows and manufacturing data; proficiency in data modeling and ontology tools (e.g., CENTree). High-Value: expertise in biological, chemical, and operational data, GxP compliance, and lab data platforms such as LIMS, ELN, CDS; experience with time-series data (e.g., OSIsoft PI). Collaboration: partner with R&D scientists, process engineers, and IT teams. Work Setup: hybrid in the US with approximately 10% travel.
