Role: Senior Information Architect leading scientific data design and standardization across pre-clinical discovery and manufacturing process development within biopharma. Responsibilities: collaborate with scientists and engineers to understand data needs, embed standards for data capture and consumption, lead ontology adoption (e.g., BioAssay Ontology), and develop best practices for data quality and context. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related; 5+ years in biopharma data architecture; hands-on experience with ontologies (RDF, OWL, SPARQL), knowledge graphs, data modeling tools, and industry-standard lab data systems (LIMS, ELN, CDS). High-Value: focus on biological, chemical, and operational data from research and manufacturing; domain expertise in pre-clinical workflows and GxP/regulated environments; experience with time-series data tools like OSIsoft PI. Work setup: hybrid in the US; travel ~10%.
