Assoc. Dir., Engineering

Role: Associate Director Estimator supporting capital projects within the biopharma industry, focusing on cost estimation, planning, and benchmarking from feasibility to project startup. Responsibilities: lead estimating efforts for projects from less than $5MM to over $1B TIC, prepare detailed TIC estimates, validate estimates from internal and external sources, conduct risk analysis, support project benchmarking and cost database maintenance, and collaborate on project budgeting and cost control. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 10+ years in estimating, project control, or capital management; strong knowledge of pharma/biotech project types across R&D, drug substance, drug product, and manufacturing; excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills; proficiency in MS Office. Preferred: AI fluency, experience with Lean methodologies, estimating systems, Monte Carlo risk analysis (@RISK), and strategic planning.
