Role: Laboratory Director overseeing Nateraโs clinical molecular and cytogenetic testing, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate patient results. Responsibilities: review, interpret, and sign out NIPT, carrier screening, PGD/PGS, oncology, and products of conception results across platforms including NGS and SNP arrays; provide clinical and technical support to lab staff; set testing standards and maintain quality control; and contribute to scientific publications. May serve as Clinical Consultant for test interpretation and as Technical Supervisor to ensure method validation, proficiency testing, and personnel competency. Manage a team of laboratory personnel, mentor staff, and oversee training and adherence to HIPAA/PHI policies. Qualifications: MD/DO or PhD in genetics or related field; ABMGG or ABP board certification; valid California laboratory director license; 5+ yearsโ experience in a CLIA-certified genetics lab; knowledge of CAP, CLIA, and state regulations. Skills: expertise in prenatal screening, oncology testing, NGS, microarrays, and human genetics; strong communication skills; management experience.
