Assistant Biological Technician

Role: Biological Technician (Assistant/Associate) supporting animal research in a biopharma setting, focusing on laboratory animal care, sample collection, and supporting biological assays. Responsibilities: conduct breeding, tissue sampling, data collection, perform biological tests across biology, microbiology, and immunology; maintain animal health, assist with necropsies and tissue processing; ensure quality control and compliance with safety protocols; assist in procedure documentation and staff training. Requirements: Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Laboratory Animal Science or related field; certification goals include ALAT, LAT, and LATG within specified timelines; ability to lift 50 pounds, work with biohazards, handle radio-labeled materials, and wear PPE; physical ability for moderate to heavy effort; willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
