Clinical Research and Development
Responsibilities:
- Chair an Asset Strategy Team (AST) as enterprise leader and primary point of contact for Pipeline Governance and senior management.
- Lead creation and endorsement of an integrated Global Asset Strategy and Brand Strategy for product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management; ensure multidirectional interactions with Pipeline Governance.
- Maintain deliverables including Global Asset Strategy and Product Development Plan (PDP); review emerging data to identify opportunities, risks, and mitigations.
- Build peer-to-peer relationships with governance/executives; coordinate with PCM Governance at milestones and as issues/opportunities arise.
- Validate program viability (scientific and commercial); develop prospective Go/No-Go decision points; present data and recommendations objectively.
- Serve as strategic advisor to cross-functional teams (e.g., Commercial, Brand, CMC, Evidence, Value & Access, Regulatory).
- Align with deliverable co-chairs (Integrated Evidence Plan, Regulatory Strategy, Brand plans, Operations LRP plans).
- Coach/mentor teams; foster inclusivity and psychological safety; optimize asset/portfolio value.
- Represent AST with external parties when cross-functional contribution is required; maintain executive presence and communication.
- Monitor competitive environment and apply industry/trend insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s required; Doctoral or MBA preferred.
- 5–8+ years (10+ preferred) leading in pharma/biotech Commercial, R&D, Regulatory, or Operations; deep drug development/commercialization expertise across multiple phases/areas.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving; ability to influence senior executives.
- Experience across drug commercialization lifecycle; deep commercialization strategy/execution expertise (R&D, Regulatory, Commercial and/or Manufacturing).
- Ideally experience with device product development, facial aesthetics.
