Responsibilities:
- Chair an Asset Strategy Team (AST) and serve as the primary point of contact for Pipeline Governance and senior management.
- Lead the creation, articulation, and endorsement of an integrated cross-functional Global Asset Strategy and Brand Strategy across product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management; ensure timely interactions with Pipeline Governance.
- Place asset recommendations in the context of enterprise objectives.
- Maintain deliverables, including a functionally aligned Global Asset Strategy and Product Development Plan (PDP); review emerging data to recommend opportunities, risks, and mitigations.
- Build collaborative relationships with governance and executives; manage interactions with PCM Governance at key milestones.
- Ensure program resourcing and alignment with the Target Product Profile (TPP), Asset Plan, and PDP; track progress with the Portfolio Project Manager, with focus on timeline and budget.
- Validate scientific and commercial viability; define prospective Go/No-Go decision points.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to cross-functional teams (commercial, brand, CMC, evidence strategy, value/access, regulatory, etc.), including alignment with co-chairs for key deliverables (Integrated Evidence Plan, Regulatory Strategy, brand plans, Operations LRP).
- Represent the AST with external parties as needed; stay current on competitive environment and industry trends.
- Coach/mentor team members and enable psychological safety and empowerment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; Doctoral-level or MBA preferred.
- 5β8 years (10+ preferred) leading in pharma/biotech commercial, R&D, regulatory, or operations; deep drug development/commercialization expertise across multiple areas/phases/therapy areas.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, leadership, problem-solving, and ability to rapidly apply new knowledge.
- Ideally experienced across multiple device product development, with emphasis on facial aesthetics programs.
- Experience following an asset/brand through development and commercialization phases preferred.
- Ability to lead in highly matrixed global environments; objective judgment and pragmatic decision-making under uncertainty; communicate and influence senior executives.
- Deep expertise in commercialization strategy/execution (R&D, regulatory, commercial and/or manufacturing).
