Asset Strategy Leader

Role: Asset Strategy Leader (ASL) responsible for overseeing an asset from discovery through end-of-life, providing enterprise-wide leadership. Core responsibilities include chairing the Asset Strategy Team, aligning cross-functional teams (including Evidence, Value & Access, Regulatory, and Product Presentation), and ensuring the development and execution of integrated strategies for drug development and commercialization. The ASL acts as the primary contact for governance and senior management, leading data analysis, risk assessment, resource allocation, and decision-making processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degrees (e.g., PhD, MBA) preferred. Minimum 5 years, ideally 10+ years, of experience in pharma/biotech with expertise in drug development, commercialization, or related functions. Skills include strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, and effective communication in English. High-value specifics: Leading early-phase assets (Phase I or II), with an emphasis on complex multi-disciplinary coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision points. The role involves understanding competitive environments, industry trends, and emerging technologies to inform asset strategies. The ASL often leads or partners on assets in development stages, with a focus on maximizing asset value and advancing pipelines.
