Role Summary

The Asset Manager will support the deployment of the Asset Management (AM) Framework for key sub-regions within the AMERS region to drive facility maintenance excellence through standardized AM and reliability practices. The role will work with J&J operated facilities and key third parties, collaborating across the E&PS organization to provide safe, compliant, and efficient properties across the J&J supply chain. Location: multiple sites across the United States and Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key AM contact for identified sub-regions and/or sites within the AMERS region
  • Actively work towards collaboration between all levels and functions within E&PS to support a "ONE" E&PS approach.
  • Support the IFM supplier governance process specific to asset management & risk within a given sub-region to drive adoption of the AM Framework
  • Lead the governance of all AM Asset Risk Crisis programs and initiatives via the supply chain IRM (Integrated Risk Management) platform
  • Partner closely with our project delivery and engineering and design teams to ensure adoption of our AM framework including CMMS standards throughout the life cycle of new or existing sites
  • Support the deployment and governance of key asset management maturity and project hand-over tools to proactively identify areas of opportunity to drive facility maintenance excellence
  • Support adoption of CMMS data standards, work management practices, spare parts, procurement strategies and best in class reliability practices including a robust FRACAS system
  • Ensure adoption of the digital asset management strategy for key sites and locations as part of a global asset management ecosystem

Qualifications

  • Required: Robust knowledge of typical asset risk programs and strategies to mitigate
  • Required: Experienced in deploying best in class asset management and reliability programs & governance
  • Required: Strong management and technical skills
  • Required: Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization including senior leaders
  • Required: Ability to adapt emerging trends and industry innovations
  • Required: Digital literacy, including an understanding of latest predictive asset monitoring technologies and solutions
  • Preferred: Certified reliability, asset management or maintenance certificate, degree or program
  • Preferred: Experience and working knowledge of various facility systems in a GxP environment
  • Preferred: Ability to think strategically while maintaining a tactical focus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, etc. or relevant experience required
