Role Summary

The Asset Manager will support the deployment of the Asset Management (AM) Framework for key sub-regions within the AMERS region to drive facility maintenance excellence through standardized AM and reliability practices. This role will work with J&J-operated facilities and key third parties, fostering collaboration across E&PS to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient properties across the supply chain. Location options include multiple posting sites across the United States and Puerto Rico, including Anasco, Baldwin Park, Guaynabo, Gurabo, Houston, Irving, Manatรญ, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, and San Lorenzo.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key AM contact for identified sub-regions and/or sites within the AMERS region
  • Actively work towards collaboration between all levels and functions within E&PS to support a โ€œONEโ€ E&PS approach
  • Support the IFM supplier governance process specific to asset management & risk within a given sub-region to drive adoption of the AM Framework
  • Lead the governance of all AM Asset Risk Crisis programs and initiatives via the supply chain IRM (Integrated Risk Management) platform
  • Partner closely with our project delivery and engineering and design teams to ensure adoption of our AM framework including CMMS standards throughout the life cycle of new or existing sites
  • Support the deployment and governance of key asset management maturity and project hand-over tools to proactively identify areas of opportunity to drive facility maintenance excellence
  • Support adoption of CMMS data standards, work management practices, spare parts, procurement strategies and best in class reliability practices including a robust FRACAS system
  • Ensure adoption of the digital asset management strategy for key sites and locations as part of a global asset management ecosystem

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, or relevant experience required

Qualifications

  • Required: Robust knowledge of typical asset risk programs and strategies to mitigate
  • Required: Experienced in deploying best in class asset management and reliability programs & governance
  • Required: Strong management and technical skills
  • Required: Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of the organization including senior leaders
  • Required: Ability to adapt emerging trends and industry innovations
  • Required: Digital literacy, including an understanding of latest predictive asset monitoring technologies and solutions
  • Preferred: Certified reliability, asset management or maintenance certificate, degree or program
  • Preferred: Experience and working knowledge of various facility systems in a GxP environment
  • Preferred: Ability to think strategically while maintaining a tactical focus
