as Clinical Laboratory Technologist – HLA

Role: Laboratory Technologist at Tufts Medical Center supporting clinical testing operations. Responsibilities include specimen evaluation, performing routine and complex tests per SOPs, instrument troubleshooting, reagent testing, result reporting, preventative maintenance, and supply management. Requirements: Bachelor’s in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology; at least 1 year of clinical lab experience or MLS certification. Preferred: 3+ months of lab testing, ASCP/AMT certification, prior HLA/NGS/Molecular experience. High-Value: Clinical laboratory testing, molecular diagnostics, high-volume lab environment, proficiency with lab information systems, ability to handle physical demands, flexibility for shift and overtime. Collaboration: Works within a team at a hospital-based laboratory. Work Setup: On-site; rotating shift with on-call weekends, eligible for shift differential.
