Role Summary

Area Therapy Advancement Manager – US Commercial Marketing for the South Atlantic region (North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia). Leads the Regional Therapy Advancement team to execute Marketing strategies and increase the number of patients receiving ablation, in alignment with broader commercial objectives. Works closely with Sales, Clinical Leadership, and cross-functional teams to advance AFib and EP programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Regional Therapy Advancement team members (RTAMs)
  • Advocate on behalf of electrophysiology programs to health system administration
  • Engage with hospital administrators and physicians to gain alignment on projects
  • Identify accounts, align objectives with leadership, and execute plans that enable patient treatment
  • Promote and maximize use of resources developed by commercial marketing, Professional Education, Health Care Compliance, HEMA, and SCG
  • Increase overall awareness of the AFib disease state among stakeholders
  • Connect physicians with marketing to advocate products and programs that strengthen relationships
  • Plan and execute national-level marketing projects contributing to organizational goals
  • Collaborate with field sales to achieve business objectives
  • Serve as a member of the sales area leadership team
  • Recruit, develop and retain top talent into the Therapy Advancement team; coach and manage RTAMs in collaboration with management
  • Develop business-critical commercial goals for the team and ensure accountability
  • Uphold all Health Care Compliance rules with the Therapy Advancement Team

Qualifications

  • Required: BA/BS with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience and 4+ years in sales and marketing
  • Preferred: Previous experience in the medical device industry; cardiovascular/EP sales experience
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required: 8+ years of business experience and 4+ years in sales and/or marketing
  • Required: Experience in medical device industry; cardiovascular experience preferred
  • Required: People leadership experience
  • Required: Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Required: Ability to build strong customer relationships with a consultative approach
  • Required: Expertise in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships across an organization
  • Required: Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment with urgency
  • Required: Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills
