Role Summary
Area Rare Cardiac Specialist (ARCS) based in Memphis, TN, will target healthcare providers across general cardiology in IDNs/health systems and group practice accounts to execute ATTR-CM disease awareness. The role will educate customers and drive patient recognition, working closely with the Cardiac Account Specialist (CAS) to ensure seamless interactions throughout the patient journey. The ARCS will develop territory business plans, utilize approved marketing resources, and build relationships to accelerate new patient starts while adhering to Pfizer policies and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Account Planning & Collaboration: Prioritize customer opportunities to maximize impact; develop territory business objectives and KPIs aligned to brand objectives; maintain active customer profiles and data; refine call planning based on local territory factors.
- Hybrid Execution / Advanced Selling Skills: Utilize advanced selling approaches; understand complex selling environments; tailor and align messaging with customer needs; educate customers on ATTR-CM and diagnostic procedures; demonstrate the brand value; implement approved educational programs; build and maintain relationships with stakeholders; adapt messaging in changing marketplace; connect Pfizer resources to meet patient needs.
- Coordination: Coordinate with other customer-facing teams and SMEs as appropriate; collaborate with CAS overlays and Rare Disease ROC Members to accelerate our internal approach to meet customer needs per CAS/ARCS coordination.

Qualifications
- MUST-HAVE: Minimum of 3 years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
- Bachelor's Degree required OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to formulate, develop, write, communicate, and monitor the execution of Territory business plans
- Demonstrated history of strong teamwork / collaboration
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated history of applying market / customer insights to inform sales planning and execution; track record of assessing customer needs and bringing relevant tools / resources to drive performance
- Consistently follows and supports company policies
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards; Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired
- PREFERRED: Rare Disease and/or Specialty Cardiovascular experience and expertise strongly preferred
- Product launch experience preferred
- Hospital Sales experience preferred
- Experience calling on large academic centers and hospital systems
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience
Additional Requirements
- Physical/Mental Requirements: Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary. Valid US driver's license and a driving record in compliance with company standards required
- Non-standard Work Schedule, Travel Or Environment Requirements: 2-3 overnights may be required per month
