Role: Area Engineer supporting the Lilly Medicine Foundry's logistics buildings and tank farm, focusing on design, commissioning, qualification, and ongoing operational support. Responsibilities include serving as SME for systems like warehouse logistics, process gases, water systems, waste tanks, and utilities; supporting risk assessments and project management for new asset delivery; maintaining systems in compliance and optimal performance; troubleshooting equipment issues; leading or participating in capital projects, and ensuring regulatory adherence. Requirements: Bachelor's in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; 5+ years in engineering of utility, building, or logistics systems within an FDA-regulated environment; experience with equipment commissioning, qualification, and utilities in pharma manufacturing. Preferred: start-up experience, familiarity with agile engineering, project management, CMMS, and utility management systems; strong communication skills; knowledge of cGMP principles.
