Main Responsibilities
- Execute Sanofi Specialty Care (Rare Blood Disorders) strategies in assigned territory by developing business plans aligned to corporate brand/marketing plans and tailored to geography and customers.
- Identify key decision makers and conduct customer meetings.
- Ask strategic, insightful questions to understand hematology account needs; position promoted brands and collaborate on customized strategies.
- Analyze market/customer data and systems/processes to support strategic planning and create business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve customer needs urgently.
- Present and communicate complex hematology clinical information to institutional-based physicians and hospitals/large group practices in a compliant, ethical manner.
- Apply deep therapeutic/product/disease expertise (MOA, indications, efficacy, safety) and provide market insights/field feedback to home office.
- Understand healthcare industry trends, laws/regulations, and market access (payer/reimbursement, pharmacy-economics, patient flow) to support compliant sales execution.
- Build relationships across the patient care continuum; coordinate specialty pharmacy/distributor/patient services to support care from diagnosis through treatment.
- Foster shared-goal teamwork by sharing knowledge and information.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years successful hospital/institutional or specialty pharmaceutical sales, or 4 years clinical experience (ARNP/PA/RN/PT/Social Worker).
- Ability to work outside traditional hours; travel up to 50%; valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA.
- 4+ years industry sales; 3+ years hematology/oncology/ITP.
- Infusion products or “buy and bill” experience; sales launch with complex specialty products; experience placing products on hospital formularies.
- Reside in assigned territory; hospital/specialty sales supporting in-patient to out-patient continuum.
