Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective execution of Sanofi Specialty Care (Rare Blood Disorders) strategies and tactics in assigned geographic area via tailored business plans aligned to corporate brand/marketing.
- Identify key decision makers and conduct customer meetings in assigned territory.
- Ask strategic, insightful questions to understand Hematology account needs; position promoted brands and collaborate on customized strategy.
- Review and analyze market/customer data to support strategic planning.
- Analyze data/systems/processes to identify business opportunities and improve implementation of strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve customer needs with urgency.
- Deliver formal/informal presentations and communicate complex Hematology clinical information to institutional physicians/hospitals/large group practices professionally and compliantly.
- Provide deep marketplace/therapeutic/product/disease expertise (MOA, indications, efficacy, safety) and share key field insights and feedback.
- Apply knowledge of healthcare industry, trends, regulations, market access environment (payer/reimbursement, pharmacy-economics, patient flow) to build business plans and execute sales calls within compliance guidelines.
- Build/maintain relationships across the patient care continuum.
- Coordinate patient/provider services (Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distributor, Patient Services) to support care from diagnosis through treatment completion.
- Be responsive to urgent provider/patient needs.
- Share knowledge to foster team effectiveness and shared goals.

About You
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 4+ years successful hospital/institutional or specialty pharmaceutical sales OR 4 years clinical experience (ARNP/PA/RN/PT/Social Worker)
- Ability to work within/outside traditional business hours
- Travel up to 50%
- Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- 5+ years industry sales
- 3+ years Hematology sales
- Infusion products or “buy and bill” experience
- Sales launch experience with complex specialty products
- Experience placing products on hospital formularies
- Reside within assigned territory geography
- Hospital or specialty sales supporting in-patient to out-patient continuum of care
