Main Responsibilities:
- Engage Pulmonology customers in assigned territory and deliver clinically focused messages to introduce, launch, grow brand share and revenue, and meet product goals for asthma and COPD.
- Coordinate with field stakeholders (e.g., Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement/Market Access, Thought Leader Liaisons) to address customer needs, identify market trends, develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives, and ensure account success.
- Build relationships with pulmonary experts, biologic coordinators, office staff, healthcare personnel, and patient advocacy support groups.
- Identify opportunities and develop strategic business plans to increase product utilization and grow territory business.
- Plan and execute local promotional speaker programs/activities.
- Maximize territory budget to execute strategies and grow the business.
- Participate in and help lead sales initiatives (e.g., congresses and regional/local medical meetings).
- Own business opportunities by coordinating/calling on large group practices and key targets to drive product results.
- Establish relationships with thought leaders.
- Primary objective: drive industry-leading customer value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree (accredited four-year institution).
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales experience.
- Ability to learn/apply technical/scientific product information.
- Experience with specialty pharmacies or hubs.
- Ability to travel as needed within the assigned territory.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with strong integrity/compliance.
- Team player.
- Valid Driverโs License.
Preferred:
- 2 years selling subcutaneous self-injectable (or office-administered IV) biologics.
- 2 years pulmonary or immunology disorder experience; 2 years calling on Pulmonologists.
- Co-promotion experience; advanced clinically based selling skills.
- Launch success; in-servicing/training office staff.
- Passion for science, proactive learning; strong organization/account management.
