Position Summary
- First-line people manager leading the Cell Therapy account management team to define/oversee site-level CAR T account management strategy and achieve commercial objectives.
- Accountable for excellence in account planning/execution and cross-stakeholder collaboration to deliver a seamless, differentiated patient experience.
- Develop/support customer access across CAR T site levels (including corporate-level representation) and execute district long-term strategic development.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, align resources; set performance metrics and ensure accountability.
- Develop/coaching for Cell Therapy Account Managers; support individual development plans.
- Drive revenue and referral strategy enabling community oncology/hematology centers to refer patients to CAR T certified sites.
- Evaluate staff deployment/territories; conduct performance reviews/competency assessments.
- Monitor field activity/workloads; manage resources, budgets/expenses; oversee business operations.
- Oversee strategic account plans with site-level goals/tactics aligned to business objectives.
- Partner to develop/refine launch strategy and brand/referral tactics.
- Provide guidance to Account Managers; consult with Medical Affairs (MSLs) and LEADs to transition CAR T account qualification insights.
- Ensure flawless order/supply process; build relationships with cross-functional partners and KOLs/key accounts.
- Provide feedback on trends, therapeutic landscape changes, performance, risks/opportunities to leadership.
Qualifications
- 8+ years sales/marketing/commercial; 5 years Hematology or Oncology.
- Sales and/or people management preferred.
- Hospital sales/academic & community setting preferred; buy-and-bill reimbursement preferred.
- Key account strategy in large/complex accounts; strong partnership with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
- High technical expertise, business acumen, analytical/consulting/planning skills.
- Coach/lead through ambiguity; excel in fast-paced, changing environments.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; U.S. compliance understanding.
- Ability to work independently; travel up to 60%.
- Valid driver’s license; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Compensation & Benefits (high level)
- Field US: $197,030–$238,754.
