Main Responsibilities:
- Engage Allergists/Immunologists/Pulmonologists and other key customers in an assigned territory; deliver a clinically focused selling message to introduce, launch, and grow brand share and revenue while meeting product goals.
- Collaborate with field stakeholders (e.g., Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, Thought Leader Liaisons, etc.) to address customer needs, identify market trends, develop strategies supporting brand/corporate objectives, and ensure account success.
- Build relationships with asthma experts and other Allergy/Immunology/Pulmonology specialists, as well as biologic coordinators, office staff, and patient advocacy groups.
- Create strategic business plans to identify opportunities, improve product utilization, and grow territory business.
- Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
- Maximize territory budget to support execution of strategies/tactics and drive business growth.
- Participate in and help lead sales success initiatives (congresses, local/regional meetings, medical conferences).
- Own business opportunities by coordinating/calling on large group practices and key targets.
- Establish relationships with thought leaders to drive industry-leading customer value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (accredited four-year college/university).
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales experience.
- Ability to learn/apply technical and scientific product information.
- Travel as necessary within the assigned territory.
- Proven consistent sales performance in complex markets with integrity/compliance.
- Team-oriented; collaborate to reach common goals.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years selling subcutaneous self-injectable (or office-administered IV) biologics.
- 2+ years selling in Asthma or Immunology disorders (e.g., Psoriasis, MS, Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis) strongly preferred.
- 2+ years calling on Allergists and/or Pulmonologists.
- Co-promotion experience; advanced clinically-based selling skills; launch success; in-servicing/training office staff.
- Passion for science; proactive learning; strong account management; highly organized.
