Area Business Director (Gastroenterology) - Fresno, CA

Role: Area Business Director (Gastroenterology) responsible for promoting Ardelyx's novel GI product, establishing a strong customer-facing presence, and driving sales in targeted gastroenterology markets. Responsibilities: achieve sales goals, develop and execute effective sales plans, collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Patient Services, Market Access), master clinical data and market knowledge, and ensure regulatory compliance. Requirements: minimum 5 years in pharma/biotech sales, with preference for gastroenterology experience; proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets; experience with product launches, specialty pharmacy, and competitive markets; strong clinical acumen; bachelor’s degree. Preferred: established relationships with gastroenterologists, knowledge of patient support programs, and sales management experience.
