Area Business Director

Role: Lead a high-performing team of Immunology Therapeutic Specialists to support the U.S. launch of sonelokimab in hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). Responsibilities: recruit, coach, and develop 8-10 field professionals; translate national brand strategy into local account plans; observe customer interactions, coach selling skills, and ensure compliant execution; identify key dermatology and HS referral practices; analyze CRM and performance data to enhance execution; partner with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs and Reimbursement; lead district business reviews and communicate insights. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 8+ years in pharma/biotech sales, with 3+ years in sales leadership; specialty market experience (dermatology, immunology, biologics, HS preferred); proven success in product launches or market expansion; strong coaching and performance management skills; ability to interpret field data and develop actionable strategies.
