Applied AI Workflow Clinical Scientist

Role: Drive application of large language models and agentic AI within Pfizer's Inflammation & Immunology portfolio by partnering with clinical and scientific teams to identify high-value use cases, build reusable workflows, and ensure adoption and impact. Responsibilities: Collaborate with clinical scientists, operations, and biologists to understand workflow pain points, design and refine AI tools, and evaluate their scientific and operational utility while maintaining rigorous standards. Focuses on accelerating clinical study design, feasibility, data review, and regulatory readiness, with future extension to clinical omics analysis. Requirements: PhD with 1+ years, Master’s with 5+ years, or Bachelor’s with 6+ years in a relevant scientific or computational field; experience supporting clinical development, clinical data review, or regulatory science; hands-on experience applying LLMs, agentic AI, or workflow automation in scientific work; strong collaboration and communication skills. Preferred: Coding proficiency (Python), immunology/inflammation expertise, experience with high-dimensional data (single-cell, spatial, proteomics), familiarity with AI regulation, and open-source contributions.
