Application Security Strategist

Role: Application Security Strategist responsible for defining and implementing secure development standards for modern application architectures, including web, API, and microservices. Responsibilities: develop reusable security patterns, guide secure design decisions with engineering teams, collaborate across cybersecurity, architecture, and compliance functions, and advise on risk mitigation and threat modeling. Requirements: 8+ years in application security and software development, expertise in secure coding (OWASP Top 10), cloud security (AWS/Azure), and secure protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML), with 5+ years in secure design and 3+ years in enterprise security frameworks (NIST, CIS). Preferred: experience with DevSecOps, API security tooling, AI security considerations, and security testing tools (SAST, DAST).
