Application Engineering Manager - Aerospace & Defense

Role: Application Engineering Manager supporting Aerospace & Defense at 3M, leading a global team of Application Engineers to drive customer-centric solutions and growth initiatives. Responsibilities: develop technical relationships with key accounts, translate customer needs into technical performance specifications, support product commercialization, lead projects to improve customer value and internal operations, and collaborate across internal teams on technology and product development. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; at least 5 years in product development, application engineering, or team management within private, public, government, or military sectors. Preferred: 10+ years of relevant experience, knowledge of aerospace materials and technologies, technical management experience, and project management skills. High-Value: aerospace and defense applications, materials, and specifications; on-site work in Maplewood, MN; up to 15% travel; US work authorization; strong leadership and technical expertise in complex problem solving. Work setup: on-site presence required, with some domestic/international travel.
