Application Engineer - Space Segment

Role: Application Engineer focusing on Space Segment within Aerospace & Defense, supporting satellite and spacecraft technology development. Responsibilities include building technical relationships with satellite manufacturers, launch providers, and government agencies; translating customer needs into product specifications; leading technical engagement activities for product qualification and adoption; providing application support and training; developing growth opportunities; and collaborating with cross-functional teams on product development and commercialization. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering; 5+ years in application engineering, product development, or translating customer needs into technical criteria, preferably in private, public, government, or military sectors. Preferred: Master’s or Ph.D.; 10+ years of relevant experience; knowledge of spacecraft materials, aerospace industry standards, and space technology ecosystems; experience with flight hardware development and qualification processes; project management skills.
