Application Engineer

Role: Application Engineer responsible for developing and optimizing abrasive applications, troubleshooting customer challenges, and supporting new solution development. Responsibilities: lead ideation, documentation, feasibility analysis, validation, provide technical support and training, and develop evaluation methods for abrasive processes at customer sites. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with 2+ years in technical support, application engineering, or manufacturing within private, public, or military sectors; experience in abrasive technologies or materials science preferred. Additional skills include product development, process validation, hands-on fabrication, and technical documentation. High-Value: industrial abrasives, application development, customer support, process validation, and troubleshooting; on-site work model in Maplewood, MN with up to 40% travel; relocation may be authorized. Work setup: on-site with significant travel.
