Role Summary
Marketing Manager for GSK’s anti-infectives portfolio, leading key projects focused on developing promotional tactics to execute the brand strategy, with opportunity to gain experience in digital promotional resources. Role begins with a focus on healthcare professionals (HCPs) but may evolve to include patient-focused activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of assigned promotional tactics (e.g. leave behinds, emails, eDetail aids) including developing project briefs to ensure promotional materials deliver on brand strategy and meet business objectives
- Develop implementation strategy for key levers such as field promotional materials and additional omnichannel opportunities, clearly articulating brand strategy to matrix partners to enable effective pull-through and execution
- Work effectively and collaboratively as an equal partner across a matrix marketing organization
- Strategically align product and its attributes to identified marketplace needs through learnings from market research, data analysis, and insight generation
- Work closely with Marketing Directors to ensure tactics align with and support brand strategies and objectives
- Effectively lead cross-functional team of internal and external partners, including the creative agency, media vendors and project teams to drive execution
- Manage projects through the promotional review and approval process
- Utilize analytics to develop, measure and optimize integrated multi-channel campaigns
- Develop effective working relationships and engage across relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- Required: BS/BA, preferably in Business/Marketing or Health Sciences related field
- Required: Minimum of 4 years of healthcare marketing or other relevant commercial experience
- Required: Experience working in a matrix environment and with all levels of an organization
- Preferred: MBA Degree
- Preferred: HCP marketing experience
- Preferred: 5+ years marketing experience (2+ years in healthcare marketing)
- Preferred: Project management experience with ability to handle multiple projects
- Preferred: Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships
- Preferred: Leadership, decision-making, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Preferred: Experience with primary and secondary market research
- Preferred: Analytical skills to understand drivers of performance and apply market research results to decision making
- Preferred: Budget management experience
- Preferred: Experience implementing projects within pharma including copy approval
- Preferred: Experience managing external agencies
