Role Summary

Anode Lead in Cornelia, Georgia, United States of America. Provides support for the Manufacturing Assembly area as an experienced contributor, executing routine tasks and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Delivers central leadership and coordination for manufacturing operations within the Anode Department, adheres to safety and environmental guidelines, and utilizes CIM and MRP systems as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Completes tasks for the support function of the Manufacturing Assembly area under general supervision, and follows routine administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
  • Assists with set up, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery/equipment.
  • Helps monitor and install components of basic in-process products, assemblies, or sub-assemblies on the assembly line.
  • Builds competency with routine machinery.
  • Ensures precision of daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
  • Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo.
  • Provides central leadership and coordination for manufacturing operations within the Anode Department.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert in the processes that fall under the department.
  • Electro-polish all needle types using anodes.
  • Responsible for start-up, monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, and maintaining of all anode finishing equipment.
  • Mix chemicals for blackening and blacken needles.
  • Process electro-polished needles through cleaning, siliconizing, and curing.
  • Responsible for performing weekly Preventative Maintenance.
  • Responsible for performing required attributes and variable testing of needles.
  • Associate must be able to perform all functions of the job by using CIM and MRP system.
  • Work in team environment behaving in a Credo-based respectful manner.
  • Comply with all federally regulated programs.
  • Adhere to J&J environmental and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Comply with all job-specific safety procedures and utilize PPE when necessary.
  • Comply with quality system requirements as defined within procedures and instructions.
  • Use microscope and scale as required.
  • Utilize applicable software systems as needed for the job (e.g. ComplianceWire, ADAPTIV, etc.).
  • Consistently meet required work performance targets (REs), if applicable.
  • Communicates business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Provides feedback and ideas for process improvement to management.
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow guidelines and that resources are available and in good condition, if applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • General Math Skills required (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Averages, Rounding, etc.).
  • Generally requires 2–4 years of work experience.
  • Preferred: Training Within Industry experience.
  • Preferred: On-the-Job Training experience.
  • Required: Ability to work within end-state guidance to achieve results.
  • Required: Demonstrated knowledge of Good Manufacturing Principles and practices, and Good Documentation Principles and procedures.
  • Required: Knowledge of CIM and ERP.
  • Required: Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and management.
  • Required: Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
