Animal Care Technician

Role: Animal Care Technician supporting biopharma research by providing routine husbandry, sanitation, and monitoring of laboratory animals at Labcorp's Greenfield, IN facility. Responsibilities: daily animal care (feeding, watering, health observation), cage changing, cleaning, sanitization, waste disposal, documentation, and reporting of health concerns; assist with inventory and facility support tasks. Requirements: 18+ years, no minimum qualifications, reliable work history, flexibility for overtime, comfort in sanitized animal research environments, strong communication skills, ability to work independently or in teams. Preferred: 6+ months animal care experience or relevant certifications (husbandry, veterinary support), dependable performance. High-Value: laboratory animal husbandry, compliance with sanitation and animal welfare protocols, work in regulated animal research setting. WorkSetup: full-time, Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm with weekend rotation; hourly pay of $18; benefits available for employees working 20+ hours.
