Role: Senior Scientist in Analytical Sciences & Technology supporting Vertex's commercial Cell and Gene therapy (CGT) portfolio, focusing on analytical method development, validation, and lifecycle management to ensure launch readiness and ongoing product support. Responsibilities include executing and prioritizing analytical activities, authoring technical documents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Analytical Development, Process Development, Quality, Supply Chain, and external contract testing labs. Requirements: Bachelor’s or higher in Science, 6+ years in biopharma industry, expertise in biologics analytical method development, validation, and GMP compliance, with knowledge of in-vitro functional, potency, and microbiology assays preferred. High-value specifics: biologics, CGT modalities, cGMP manufacturing, commercial product testing, and oversight of outsourced analytical testing. Work setup: hybrid or on-site, with flexibility.
