Role: Analytical Development Scientist focusing on synthetic molecules, including peptides and PROTACs, supporting compound characterization and transition from Discovery to clinical phases. Responsibilities: independently design and execute studies on physicochemical properties, lead solid-state screening (salt and polymorph), develop analytical methods for Drug Substance and Drug Product, and support regulatory filings. Collaborates across Discovery, Formulation, Process Chemistry, and Regulatory functions; provides technical leadership and mentorship. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutics, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related field with 8+ years of industry experience, or Masterβs with 6+ years, or PhD with no minimum; strong expertise in solid-state analytics (X-ray diffraction, calorimetry, microscopy), chromatographic techniques, and polymorphism; GMP laboratory experience; troubleshooting skills. Preferred: knowledge of peptides, PROTACs, in silico tools; cross-functional teamwork experience. High-Value: biologics-related modalities, salt/polymorph screening, physicochemical characterization, formulation support, regulatory documentation. Work Setup: based in Boston, MA; travel approximately 5-10%.
