Role Summary

The Alliances and Proposals Manager in Seattle, WA will serve as the primary contact for partner and client management, coordinating proposal development, governance, and communications. Youโ€™ll drive project initiation, support engagements with grant funders and commercial clients, and facilitate information exchange between Just-Evotec and partners. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, problem solving, and the ability to create innovative solutions that advance alliances and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide single point of contact for partner and client management, facilitating effective written and verbal communication and ensuring partner needs are communicated internally and addressed appropriately.
  • Develop, manage, revise, and finalize initial project proposals in partnership with functional representatives; ensure change orders are drafted for scope changes on projects executing against a statement of work.
  • Manage project initiation and support projects from grant funders and commercial clients.
  • Enable and support information and data exchange with partners and implement governance models as required by agreements; consult senior alliance management as needed.
  • Provide meeting management support for client meetings, including planning, scheduling, facilitation, and documentation.
  • Assist in the establishment of company best practices and tools.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree in biological sciences, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or related field
  • Required: Minimum 4 years of previous Alliance management or Program management experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
  • Required: Excellent organizational, relationship and communication skills
  • Required: Motivation to be part of a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team
  • Required: Pro-active, team player with experience working on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Required: Experience with MS Office tools, MS Project, Smartsheet
  • Preferred: Alliance management/Project management experience working for a CDMO
  • Preferred: Experience with Proposal writing at a CDMO
  • Preferred: Drug development knowledge with strong understanding of research, preclinical, clinical, manufacturing, commercial and regulatory areas
  • Preferred: Independent, motivated, team member with experience in a matrix environment
