The Position
- The Territory Business Manager will report to the District Business Manager and drive product awareness and utilization within a defined territory by developing relationships and partnering with physicians and healthcare office staff.
Responsibilities
- Employ business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks.
- Develop strong disease and dermatology product knowledge to compliantly promote dermatological products to healthcare professionals.
- Engage physicians and targeted healthcare professionals to deliver clinically relevant information, exceed product goals, and comply with legal and compliance regulations.
- Use marketplace and reimbursement landscape knowledge to prioritize opportunities.
- Use direct selling techniques and market strategies to expand product demand.
- Apply critical thinking and a strategic mindset to gain customer access in a changing healthcare environment.
- Coordinate with field-based personnel to proactively address customer needs.
- Use patient-focused clinical dialogue and total account management to deliver customer service.
- Build relationships and maintain an active presence in the Dermatology community and related organizations.
- Represent the company professionally, ethically, and compliantly.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- 2+ years of proven sales experience in a quota-driven role; preference for dermatological, medical device, or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Demonstrated sustained high performance and strong learning aptitude.
- Strong customer service urgency.
- Ability to travel as required by the territory.
- Ability to thrive in a performance-based, fast-paced environment.
Compensation/Benefits
- Flexible compensation package including a Sales Incentive Plan and a company car.
