AI/Machine Learning Engineer

Role: AI Software Developer, Early Career, focusing on building scalable AI architecture within an internal incubator. Responsibilities: translate research code (Python) into maintainable Rust components, develop tests and simulations, optimize performance, implement interfaces, support deployment in diverse environments (cloud, edge, embedded), and document designs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or five+ years of experience with software development; 5+ years programming in Python and C++, Rust, or similar; 3+ years in core software-engineering practices. Preferred: experience with Rust, symbolic AI, neural-symbolic systems, high-performance computing, containerization (Kubernetes, cloud platforms), profiling, and performance optimization. High-Value: involvement with cutting-edge AI architecture, real-time and offline inference, cross-platform deployment, and working within an innovative, collaborative team. Location: onsite in Maplewood, MN, with up to 5% travel.
