Role: AI Engineer specializing in designing, building, and deploying agentic AI systems to automate and augment clinical and operational workflows within healthcare. Responsibilities: develop end-to-end intelligent agents integrating large language models (LLMs), tools, and data sources; create multi-step reasoning and decision-making agents across modalities like medical images and electronic records; establish evaluation strategies for safety, robustness, and alignment; ensure production readiness with system monitoring, guardrails, and lifecycle management; build scalable, reusable platforms for cross-team AI deployment; prototype and validate solutions in high-reliability, regulated healthcare environments; stay current with AI advances. Requirements: graduate degree in Computer Science or related field; 2+ years in industry with strong software engineering expertise; hands-on experience with LLMs, agent frameworks, and scalable platforms; proficiency in Python, Java, or C/C++; experience deploying AI systems with monitoring and failure handling. Preferred: experience in autonomous agents in complex settings; familiarity with AI safety, interpretability, and healthcare data regulation; background in machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
