Your Role: AHV Dairy Sales Representative
Responsibilities:
- Create demand and secure sales by delivering and demonstrating the value of Animal Health Vision products to direct customers and influencers.
- Manage the territory via yearly action plans, account plans, expense management, and communications aligned to business unit marketing and sales objectives.
- Plan and execute selling cycles, marketing programs, sales promotions, customer meetings, and key customer outings/incentives.
- Provide customer-centric solutions by understanding customer needs.
- Demonstrate technical fluency and position Elanco Cattle products/services using key messages, scientific information, and product expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, technical support, Channel/Retail/Vet KAM, customer service) to share customer insights, coordinate demonstrations, and resolve customer concerns.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in business/agriculture (or related) OR High School Diploma/GED with equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience and knowledge of the Dairy industry.
- Prior experience with Veterinary and/or Nutritional professions/industry.
- Previous dairy industry sales experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no anticipated visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B or TN).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior dairy-sector sales experience in the territory geography.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Passion for animal agriculture/dairy.
Location/Travel:
- California; must live in the territory. Up to 50% travel.
