Agentic AI Business Solutions (Field), Director

Role: Director of Neural Nexus – Agentic AI Business Solutions, leading strategy, execution, and adoption of AI-enabled initiatives to enhance field effectiveness in Amgen's commercial operations. Responsibilities include developing AI roadmaps, collaborating with Field Leadership, Digital, Data, and Tech teams, and translating business needs into technical solutions; managing cross-functional teams; and driving platform adoption through change management and targeted enablement. Requirements: Doctorate with 4+ years or Master's with 8+ years, or Bachelor's with 10+ years in commercial analytics, sales planning, or operationalizing GenAI solutions, plus 4+ years of leadership experience. Preferred qualifications encompass experience in biotech/pharma commercial effectiveness, AI-driven transformation initiatives, and deep understanding of pharmaceutical field workflows and data. The role involves strategic partnership, stakeholder management, and influencing senior teams to embed AI capabilities into field workflows. Work setup requires 2-3 days onsite weekly in Thousand Oaks, CA, with some travel. The focus is on leveraging Generative AI, analytics, and automation to improve sales productivity, decision-making, and workflow efficiency in a leading biopharma environment.
