Job Title: Research Advisor/Sr. Advisor – AI for Science (ADMET Intelligence)
Responsibilities
- Drive drug discovery programs by developing and applying innovative AI/ML models.
- Collaborate with experimental scientists to connect computational predictions with lab experiments; support hypothesis testing and iterate between modeling and experiments.
- Lead development of scientific foundation models integrating molecular design and biological data to support decision-making across the drug discovery pipeline.
- Publish findings in top-tier venues and represent Lilly within the global AI4Science community.
- Partner with MLOps and Data Engineering to transition prototypes into scalable tools; learn and share guidelines for reusable, reliable AI/ML solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computational Chemistry, Computational Biology, Physics, or another scientific field.
- First-author publications in high-impact journals or top-tier ML conferences.
- Experience with modern AI/ML frameworks and molecular-data architectures (e.g., GNNs, Transformers).
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to translate chemistry/biology problems into ML formulations.
- Experience collaborating with lab scientists to refine models through iterative experimentation.

- Anticipated wage: $151,500–$244,200.
