Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Project Management: Lead and manage teams delivering large, business-critical capital asset programs ($500MM USD+), safely from front-end planning through operational qualification (cradle to grave), ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Interface/Communication: Lead remotely from a regional distance; maintain communication with leadership, governance teams, business partners, and stakeholders; facilitate issue resolution and anticipate scope changes.
- Compliance: Use a disciplined, structured project management approach aligned to Company Policies and Procedures.
- Safety/Environment: Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans; ensure compliance from conceptual design through operational verification.
Minimum Requirements
- BS in Engineering or a technical related field (e.g., project management, construction management).
- 10+ years capital project delivery experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities (preferably leading projects/multiple projects >$100MM).
- Greenfield project experience.
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel outside home state/country.
Additional Preferences
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (Bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, devices; some lab).
- GMP, LEAN, automation, construction/quality, project controls, engineering disciplines, safety, scheduling.
- Ability to achieve results/influence through people; work with minimal supervision.
- Strong written/verbal communication; influence without direct administrative responsibility.
- Foreign language(s); PE (or equivalent); PMP; experience working/living outside the U.S.; continuous improvement mindset.
Additional Information
- ~15%β30% travel; onsite role requiring full relocation to Houston, TX (not remote).
