Role: Advanced Repair Technician supporting GEHC product development and manufacturing at Oak Creek, focusing on system board and subassembly repair. Responsibilities: perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, testing, modifications, and component replacement; conduct visual inspections and advanced troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues; evaluate hardware/software, execute test procedures, and ensure compliance with performance standards; lead quality activities by identifying defect trends and providing feedback for process improvements; assist customers, field service, suppliers, and engineering with technical support. Requirements: associate's degree or high school diploma with 2+ years technical experience; strong troubleshooting skills at subsystem/system levels; ability to interpret technical documents; US work authorization. Preferred: bachelor’s in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Technology; knowledge of production processes, documentation, and rework; IPC soldering certification; 5+ years electronic circuit troubleshooting; familiarity with GRID, eDHR, My Workshop; lean methodologies.
