Advanced Staining Assay Validation Specialist

Role: Advanced Staining Assay Validation Specialist supporting assay validation, verification, and method development of advanced staining techniques (IHC, ISH, FISH) in a clinical laboratory setting. Responsibilities: perform assay experiments, develop and author validation protocols and reports, support regulatory compliance (GxP, CAP, CLIA), operate and troubleshoot histology instruments, analyze data, maintain documentation, and coordinate with global scientific teams. Requirements: high school diploma, at least 1 year in assay validation or histology lab, prior histology experience preferred; strong attention to detail, good communication skills, proficiency in lab safety, troubleshooting, and documentation. Preferred: Histotechnologist certification, associate’s degree in a scientific field, 3+ years in assay development or validation, regulated lab experience, embedding, microtomy skills.
