      Role Summary
 Advanced Shipping Coordinator is responsible for processing orders for shipments in a warehouse setting. They process orders in our ERP system, generate appropriate paperwork, pick products using mobile devices, and pack orders as part of Protein Simple Consumables Team. This role is responsible for working with carriers and freight forwarders and using their computer systems, making sure that we are compliant with all requirements to export our products outside the US. They work directly with internal and external departments to answer questions, resolve matters and problem. They work with internal teams to do testing of existing and new functions within our ERP system.
 
 Responsibilities
 
 - Process orders from ERP system
 
 - Pick and pack finished goods for shipments
 
 - Use mobile devices to pick finished goods products in the warehouse based off work orders, by product location, item, and quantity
 
 - Ensure that orders are picked and packed accurately; perform quality inspections as instructed
 
 - Stage items correctly for packing and shipping
 
 - Box up, shrink wrap, label and package shipments as required
 
 - Generate export documents that are needed, via ERP system, carrier system, manual paperwork
 
 - Work with internal departments to resolve problems (Customer Care, Import/Export, Finished Goods)
 
 - Provide trainings to seasonal contract workers and from helps from other department.
 
 - Use pallet jacks to move shipments, while ensuring safety regulations are followed
 
 - Ensures warehouse goals are met
 
 - Follows company policies and practices as outlined in Handbook and follow guidelines regarding safety as outlined in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance with the job.
 
 - Performs additional duties as assigned
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 - This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of 3 years of warehouse/shipping related experience.
 
 - Must have high attention to detail so that orders are accurate.
 
 - Must be able to work independently and with a team.
 
 - Intermediate to advanced computer and typing skills required. Basic export/international shipping knowledge preferred.
 
 - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
 
 
 
 Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
 
 - Knowledge or ability to learn how to use the Federal Express Power ship program
 
 - Knowledge of warehouse processes
 
 - Knowledge of shipping within and outside the US
 
 - Basic knowledge of mathematics
 
 - Proficient in computer programs
 
 - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
 
 - Ability to problem solve; including the ability to identify problems and bring to management to evaluate a course of action
 
 - Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner
 
 - Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
 
 - Ability to work in coolers and freezers for periods of time
 
 - Ability to act independently and with a team on routine assignments and projects
 
 - Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbal
 
 - Ability to pay attention to detail and perform at a high-level
 
 - Ability to work hours that conform to business operations and/or the department needs
 
 - Skills to accurately pick and pack products for shipment
