Advanced Lab Assistant

Role: Laboratory technician supporting Protein Sciences, focused on cell culture harvesting and concentration for protein/antibody production, including cGMP processes. Responsibilities: operate autoclaves, washers, and sterilization equipment; harvest and concentrate conditioned media; prepare solutions, media, and plates; perform equipment maintenance and calibration; manage biohazard waste and maintain documentation; assist with SOP updates and training. Requirements: high school diploma or associate degree with 1-2 years related experience; knowledge of lab equipment, safety protocols, and centrifugation; strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments; physical ability to lift 40 lbs. Preferred: familiarity with lab automation, GMP standards, and cell culture techniques.
