Adult Immunization Specialist โ Brockton, MA

Position Summary:
- The Immunization Specialist (IS) drives healthcare provider (HCP) engagement and adult vaccine uptake by educating HCPs and their office staff on disease prevention and GSKโs vaccine portfolio, communicating clinical value, and translating clinical data into conversations that drive immunization impact.
- Reports to the Vaccine Sales Director and collaborates with field/account leadership to ensure coordinated and compliant execution.
Responsibilities:
- Engage HCPs across internal medicine, family practice, and health departments using approved materials to communicate clinical value and benefits of GSK vaccines.
- Build and maintain expertise in vaccine therapeutic areas, GSK products, and competitors.
- Support peer-to-peer educational programs, conventions, and speaker events.
- Tailor engagement strategies to local practice dynamics and HCP/account needs.
- Ensure pull through across adult segments for private/public vaccination, including stocking, in-office vaccination, and/or referrals.
- Partner with Vaccine Account Managers to drive product pull through within Public Awardees, Health Systems, and other contracted accounts per engagement guidelines.
- Influence uptake of publicly funded vaccines by understanding HCP/staff and health department immunization goals and funding cycles.
- Support accounts with ordering and inventory management needs.
- Educate/communicate HCPs/staff on Health System (HS) policies with Account Managers.
- Identify and address barriers to contract execution/utilization and provide actionable feedback.
- Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Account Teams to ensure aligned and compliant execution.
- Help identify/address barriers to vaccine access, reimbursement, and workflow integration.
- Provide actionable field insights to inform local strategy and optimize resources.
- Uphold compliant, high-quality customer engagement in line with company policies and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in business reviews and team huddles.
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation and activity records.
Success Metrics / KPIs:
- Achieve assigned territory sales, immunization rates, and market share targets.
- Activity metrics (e.g., customer reach and frequency), progress on Good Selling Outcomes, and utilization of key educational assets.
- 100% CRM documentation and GSK policy compliance.
- Completion of selling excellence and product-related training programs/modules.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years business-to-business or pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Ability to travel locally/regionally; occasional overnights and weekend travel.
- Valid driverโs license and willingness to drive (essential function).
- Leveling by experience: Immunization Specialist (grade 8) requires 2+ years; Senior Immunization Specialist (grade 7) requires 5+ years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years vaccines sales experience.
- Strong track record of high performance.
- Strong account-selling skills; business-to-business experience in healthcare.
- Demonstrated competency in science, business acumen, and customer engagement.
- Knowledge/experience in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated learning agility.
