Role Summary

Under moderate to minimal supervision, this role provides security and administrative support for the site and multiple departments. Maintains documentation and records in accordance with cGMP principles and ensures a safe work environment with reliable attendance. Demonstrates effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication. Hours: 1st shift, 7:00am–3:30pm; overtime, weekend, and holiday work may be required.

Responsibilities

  • These duties will require strong computer and organization skills.
  • Answering inbound phone calls
  • Site security responsibilities including the assignment and control of contractor badges with daily accountability, video and alarm system monitoring, and reporting of security activities to the Site Leader and the Site Security Officer
  • Greet and check in visitors to the site (security badge control).
  • Provide contractor/visitor training when applicable
  • Utilization of SAP inventory control system to update Bills of materials (BOM)
  • Manage work order status in SAP
  • Maintain, distribute, and post bulletin board announcements on all bulletin boards.
  • Update manufacturing records
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using cGMP guidelines
  • Miscellaneous administrative duties for the Site such as filing, scanning, ordering materials/food, etc
  • Safety program administrative duties (minutes, ensuring monthly audits are completed, scanned, and actions are closed).
  • Assist with ordering supplies and contacting vendors regarding status and resolution of orders.
  • Retrieving mail daily from Post-Office
  • Comply with cGMP practices and documentation
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping practices
  • Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a safe work environment. Understand and comply with safety SOPs and procedures (MSDS guidelines, Near Miss, PPE, biohazard training, Monthly Safety training, etc.)
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform mathematical calculations and metric conversions
  • Learn and assist in the completion of documentation including process worksheets and log sheets
  • Demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader

Education

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Job grade entry level commensurate to prior experience
  • Fluent use of Windows Microsoft Office operating systems

Skills

  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively use basic math applications (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to document accurately and legibly using cGMP principles.

Additional Requirements

  • Exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards, continuous standing and lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs.
  • Weekend and holiday work may be required.
  • Routine standing and/or walking for extended periods.
  • Continual need to stoop, kneel, crouch and climb; reach with hands and arms.
