Role Summary

The Administrative Lead serves as the principal support for the Biomedicine Design (BMD) Leadership Team as a collective body, focusing on delivering high-quality administrative and business operations assistance. This role is dedicated to ensuring the smooth functioning of the leadership teamโ€™s activities, including calendar and meeting management, travel coordination, and expense reporting. The Administrative Lead acts as a knowledgeable resource for BMD colleagues, offering guidance on Pfizerโ€™s operational and business tools, and proactively contributes to team efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the BMD Leadership Team, ensuring seamless execution of team priorities.
  • Collaborate effectively with the BMD Operations Team and other BMD colleagues, fostering a team-oriented environment and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for BMD scientific colleagues, offering guidance and training on business tools and systems for scheduling, purchasing, travel, and expense management.
  • Provide support for team-building events, workshops, and seminar series to foster collaboration and engagement.
  • Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in managing and prioritizing workload, consistently delivering business and operational support within agreed timelines, and communicating adjustments proactively when needed.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver value-added contributions to BMD.
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues, even in ambiguous situations, to maintain team effectiveness.
  • Independently complete complex assignments, consistently providing high-quality administrative and business support to BMD.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree with 8 โ€“ 10 yearsโ€™ experience or High school diploma with a minimum of 10 yearsโ€™ experience
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Enjoys fast-paced environment, highly organized and personable, proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
