Role Summary
- The Administrative Lead is a proactive, independent administrative professional providing high-quality business results with wider business process thinking and input.

Role Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of BTxPS and senior leaders (calendar management, records, email, meeting scheduling, secure conference rooms).
- Use independent judgment to handle complex, non-routine issues and set priorities based on department/senior leader needs.
- Support senior leaders using in-depth knowledge of Pfizer/division/department organization.
- Gather information across Pfizer to resolve problems; identify/anticipate issues and resolve urgent matters.
- Establish strategic relationships inside and outside Pfizer.
- Find innovative ways to overcome barriers (e.g., deliver materials to remote/foreign locations).
- Facilitate resolution of difficult issues; recommend/lead/implement solutions.
- Schedule meetings and partner with Chief of Staff on leadership agendas/events.
- Create agendas; schedule group/individual meetings; issue minutes.
- Be detail-oriented and flexible; organize documents and manage distribution lists.
- Support travel plans and expense reporting.
- Use office procedures and Pfizer systems (e.g., Teleconference Services, SharePoint, Get Service, Get Access).
- Balance tasks/priorities for self and others; coordinate complex activities via Pfizer network.

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years’ experience.
- Excellent attention to detail; interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint required).
- Highly flexible; multitask.
- Ability to work later/longer hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Administrative Assistant experience supporting executive leadership in a global organization.
- Pharmaceutical/healthcare industry knowledge.
- Proactive follow-up; planning/organizing skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (esp. PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) and interest in responsible AI.

Physical/Mental Requirements
- Light lifting, lots of walking, extensive computer use.

Non-standard Work Schedule/Travel/Work Location
- Some travel required.
- Hybrid: live within commuting distance; work on-site ~2.5 days/week or more as needed.
